We marveled at Beijing’s structures in 2008, now the spotlight is on Vancouver Olympic architecture. The gallery here shows some of the newly constructed buildings in the host city of the 2010 Olympics.
“From the world’s largest hydrogen bus fleet to a six-acre multi-use Olympic Oval, British Columbia appears determined to host the ‘greenest games ever’ in Vancouver come February,” Inhabitat says.
The Vancouver Olympic architecture featured here includes the Vancouver Convention Centre, the Richmond Olympic Oval (made of trees killed naturally due to the infestation of Mountain pine beetles) and the 2010 Commerce Centre.
